The first improvements and refurbishments at Butarque are in their final phase.

The club will be unveiling some of them this Sunday, while work continues on the rest.

C.D. Leganés has completed a large part of the changes and improvements at the Estadio Municipal Butarque, while some of them are still in progress and will be ready in the next few days.

As already announced, among the most outstanding improvements is the complete renovation of the seats in the oldest part of the upper and lower stands. These seats have been replaced by a folding and more comfortable model, which will be available from next Sunday's match against Las Palmas.

As for the rest of the seats in the stadium, a thorough cleaning has been carried out which, despite the natural wear and tear of the seats due to the passage of time, has significantly improved their condition. The seats were first cleaned by hand with special products and then each seat was heated using a blowtorch.

Improvements to the seats and refurbishment of the toilets and bars in the stadium

Plumbing work has been carried out as well as a thorough cleaning and restocking of utensils in all of them. While it is considered that the club has addressed the main deficiencies, fans using the toilets during the forthcoming matches are requested to report any issues they may have identified to the club.

With regard to the bars in the stadium, the club has reached an agreement with a top national supplier which has renewed the aesthetics of all the bars and their furniture, and which will extend the range of products on offer without any significant change in prices.

In the grandstand area, most of the other changes already announced have also been undertaken: both the relocation of the VIP box and the press and radio area to the upper stand have been completed, while the new hospitality area in the former press box space will be open to the public, although with details still to be finalised in the coming weeks. An additional improvement not previously announced is the installation of step railings on the steps of the upper stands, which will improve accessibility for all fans travelling in these areas and prevent potential falls that have unfortunately occurred in the past.

New immersive experience room in the exit tunnel to the pitch

Finally, this Sunday, the club will unveil an immersive experience room in the tunnel, which will allow fans to witness first-hand the tension and excitement of the players seconds before they take to the pitch.

C.D. Leganés will continue with the process of improving and adapting the entire stadium in the coming days, with the commitment that the experience of all the pepineros will be the best possible on their return to the First Division.
