C.D. Leganés and Javier Avilés part ways

The Madrid winger ends his time as a Pepinero after 44 official matches.

C.D. Leganés and Javier Avilés will not continue together in the 2024/25 season. The youth winger's time as a Pepinero comes to an end after making his first-team debut in the 2018/19 season and having been on loan several times over the last few seasons.

Avilés, 27, made his debut in a Copa del Rey match against Rayo Vallecano after being trained in the Cantera Pepinera, making his debut in the First Division in the 2019/20 season and consolidating his place in the first team the following year. After playing on loan at Tondela, Lugo, Amorebieta and Málaga, Avilés closes his time as a Pepinero with 44 official games played.

The club would like to thank him for his professionalism over the years, and would also like to wish him all the best for the future on a personal and professional level.
