C.D. Leganés Femenino has shown its most supportive side in the last week. The members of the senior team travelled to Morocco to volunteer for six days with the Darsammoura Association in the town of Midelt.
Darsammoura is a solidarity house of this NGO in Midelt, which carries out development and intercultural collaboration programmes, and which offers an enriching experience both to the people who go there and to the local population. There, our sportswomen, who arrived in two groups, the first on 21 July and the second on 23 July, carried out various activities with forty children who come to the solidarity house in summer.
Among these activities, they taught languages to the older ones and did handicrafts with the younger ones during the six days of volunteering, which culminated on Thursday 25th with a match against L'Equipe Routeau Mondial in the football stadium of Midelt. In addition, during the visit, the C.D. Leganés Foundation gave school and sports material to the association, including balls, backpacks and cases.
