Asier Riesgo, Five Star Player of March

Asier Riesgo has been recognized by the fans of C.D. Leganés as the Five Star Player of March. The Basque goalkeeper has won the Mahou award that recognizes him as the best player of the team in the past month thanks to his great performance. This award is organized by Mahou, the club's official beer.

With this initiative, Mahou Cinco Estrellas demonstrates its loyal support to C.D. Leganés and its fans, generating connections between people who are essential to live better and offering the experience to the fans of being part of this award. Riesgo was the protagonist in the matches played by the pepineros last month, leaving good interventions in almost all of them.

Dynamics of the election of the Five-Star Player

Fans vote through Twitter, on the @futbolmahou profile, with the collaboration of the official C.D. Leganés account (@cdleganes), for their chosen player among the five proposed by the club on a monthly basis with the hashtag #JugadorCincoEstrellas (#FiveStarPlayer). To vote they have to mark retweet or favorite the name of the player they want to be awarded the prize, within the deadline set for collecting votes. Once the votes are counted, the winner is determined.
